This site has no analytics, sets no cookies and loads nothing from a third party. Two things are processed anyway, and both are named below.
Who is responsible

Server logs
The site is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA). Like any web server, it processes the data your browser transmits with each request: IP address, time, the page requested, referrer and user agent. This is necessary to deliver the site and to keep it secure — the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating the site. Transfer to the USA is covered by the standard contractual clauses in Netlify's data processing agreement.
The interest form
If you submit the form on the hosted version page, the name and address you enter and the optional text are stored as a contact in our own customer database, which runs on our own infrastructure (database hosted with Supabase). We use them for one thing: to contact you about a hosted version of Zeitlines. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by submitting the form.
On the way there the submission passes through a small function on our host, which is what keeps the credentials for that database off this website. Nothing is stored at that step.
There is no newsletter and no automated sequence, and the entry is passed to nobody else. Ask us to delete it and it is deleted.
What this site does not do
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting.
- No cookies. Nothing is written to your browser's storage.
- No third-party fonts, scripts or images. Everything the page needs comes from this domain, which is why there is no consent banner to click away.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw a consent you have given with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for us that is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Self-hosted Zeitlines instances
This notice covers this website only. A Zeitlines deployment that somebody runs themselves is operated by them, holds their data on their infrastructure, and sends nothing here. The software makes no call to this domain or to us.
